My Qualifications and Experience

  • I am a post-CCT paediatrician, and have worked in the NHS for 19 years: I understand the pressures experienced by health care professionals, especially during the pandemic.
  • I was Wellbeing Lead for my department and am passionate about healthcare professional wellbeing.
  • I volunteered with VSO in Sierra Leone for a year where I did clinical work, along with teaching and quality improvement work.
  • I am an ICF qualified and accredited (ACC) coach and hold a non-judgemental space so you can feel held and heard; I have training in diverse areas such as positive psychology, neuroscience, somatic coaching, transactional analysis, values, strengths-based coaching, and GROW.
  • I am also qualified in DISC behavioural preference profiling and have further training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Self-determination theory, Team Coaching, and Mental Health First Aid.

 More About Me

  • I am also a mum and my husband is in the RAF.
  • We are currently living in the Netherlands as a family.
  • I first had coaching to support my return to work after the death of my baby Gail; this had a huge impact on my mindset and ability to get back to working as a paediatrician.
  • My purpose is to use my experiences positively to make a difference to others in Gail’s memory.
  • I love to knit, cycle and run.
